Psychometric Test Performance in Relation to the Psychopathology of Epilepsy

Abstract
Clinical, electroencephalographic, and psychologic test data from 49 adults with diagnoses of temporal-psychomotor, generalized, or focal epilepsy were examined statistically in order to determine whether cognitive, perceptual, or memory dysfunctions were significantly correlated with the incidence and quality of psychopathology. No significant relationship could be shown between deficits in psychometric test performance and quality or degree of psychiatric abnormality.
