Sleep of Dry Alcoholics

Abstract
Ten alcoholics who had been dry for one to two years were subjects in this electroencephalographic sleep study. Probably, the subject sample was biased toward representing dry alcoholics who sleep well. In previous investigations during alcohol withdrawal, the main abnormalities were found in various indices of fragmentation of sleep and in decreased proportion of slow-wave sleep.
