Abstract
A program of dance therapy was developed for use in modifying a variety of irregular and disordered body-movement patterns common to psychotic children. In order to evaluate the effect of the therapy the Volwiler Body Movement Analysis (VBMA) scale was developed. The scale provides a quantitative value for 19 aspects of body movement. The data indicated that psychotic children were significantly different from control children in most categories of body movement.
