Sex Differences in Psychiatric Evaluation and TreatmentAn Empirical Review

Abstract
This article reviews the research evidence concerning sexrelated differences in psychiatric/psychological assessment and treatment. The effects of both sex of patient and sex of judge are considered. The article also raises methodological criticisms of the existing research, and draws some tentative conclusions.
