Outcome of Anorexia Nervosa

Abstract

• An overview of research on the outcome of anorexia nervosa in the last 25 years is presented. Findings in the areas of mortality, nutritional status, eating difficulties, menstrual function, psychiatric status, psychosexual and psychosocial adjustment, and treatment effects are discussed.
