The Interplay of Nature, Nurture, and Developmental Influences: The Challenge Ahead for Mental Health—Correction

Arch Gen Psychiatry. 2003;60:203.

Error in Text. In the Special Article titled "The Interplay of Nature, Nurture, and Developmental Influences: The Challenge Ahead for Mental Health," published in the November issue of the ARCHIVES (2002;59:996-1000), the sentence at the end of the right-hand column on page 996 should have read as follows: "It is necessary to take into account stochastic effects10 and developmental influences (possibly including endocrine influences on genetic effects). In addition, gene-environment correlations and interactions mean that some variance is accounted for by the joint coaction of genetic and environmental effects."
