In the Original Article titled "Effects of Perceived Treatment on Quality of Life and Medical Outcomes in a Double-blind Placebo Surgery Trial" published in the April issue of the ARCHIVES (2004;61:412-420), an incorrect version of Figure 3 was published. Figure 3 is published correctly here. Online versions of this article on the Archives of General Psychiatry Web site were corrected on April 13, 2004. The ARCHIVES regrets the error.
