Errors in Text, Figures, and Table. In the article titled "A Placebo-Controlled 18-Month Trial of Lamotrigine and Lithium Maintenance Treatment in Recently Manic or Hypomanic Patients With Bipolar I Disorder," published in the April 2003 issue of the ARCHIVES (2003;60:392-400), the last line of the first paragraph on page 393 should have read "In a second study with parallel-group and crossover components, lamotrigine monotherapy was more effective than placebo or gabapentin in the treatment of patients with bipolar and unipolar mood disorders who were refractory to or intolerant of lithium, valproic acid, or carbamazepine.24"; the P value in Figure 1 B for Lithium vs Placebo on page 396 should have read P = .07; the P value in Figure 2 A for Lamotrigine vs Placebo on page 397 should have read P = .02; and the table heading in Table 5 on page 397 should have read Lamotrigine (n = 58). The ARCHIVES regrets the errors.
