This is the sixth in a series of volumes since 1952 reviewing clinical psychology. The current review covers five different general areas: Part I on Measurement, Part II on Theory, Part III on Research, Part IV on Applications, and Part V on Developments Abroad. In all there are 15 papers distributed unevenly through these sections.

In Part I a detailed review of the current literature on projective techniques is given. Its use would seem to be limited to someone who wishes to pursue a particular line of investigation and wants to know what is going on in that clinical area. In a second paper, clinical applications of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory are described. Code types and diagnostic rules are discussed.
