This is the sixth in a series of volumes since 1952 reviewing clinical psychology. The current review covers five different general areas: Part I on Measurement, Part II on Theory, Part III on Research, Part IV on Applications, and Part V on Developments Abroad. In all there are 15 papers distributed unevenly through these sections.

In Part I a detailed review of the current literature on projective techniques is given. Its use would seem to be limited to someone who wishes to pursue a particular line of investigation and wants to know what is going on in that clinical area. In a second paper, clinical applications of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory are described. Code types and diagnostic rules are discussed. Factor analytic studies have revealed two major factors, repression and acquiescence. Another more current finding has been to discover that two factors may be related to . . .
