The third annual edition of New Drugs in paperback is a valuable tool for the physician. Many of the drugs are used by psychiatrists of all schools. Especially valuable are the chapters on antidepressants, antiphsychotic agents, analeptics, and sedative-hypnotics. The arrangement of the book and the index affords easy and rapid access to an individual drug. Not only are dosages and preparations, actions and uses clearly stated, but so are adverse reactions and precautions. This reference book should be on every physician's (including psychiatrists) desk.
