A book reviewer's life is generally a thankless one and this book does not provide the exception. This is the third volume in the series on psychodrama by J.L. Moreno in collaboration with Zerka T. Moreno. It is a collection of papers, some of which are over 20 years old. They deal with use of psychodrama as a diagnostic and therapeutic instrument with children, adolescents, and those with premarital and marital problems and psychotic disorders. It also provides a comprehensive overview of psychodramatic techniques.

When the book deals with the tapes of psychodrama it is at its best. One gets a clear view of the use of this technique as it is performed by its innovator.
