To the Editor.

— Questions raised by colleagues since the publication of our article "Infants at Risk for Schizophrenia: The Jerusalem Infant Development Study" (ARCHIVES 1981;38:703-713) have made it obvious that a few clarifications and corrections need to be made. These will be especially help-ful to those interested in following the progress of our longitudinal study.

The corrections do not change any of the basic conclusions of our study. A first set of clarifications and corrections deals with the subdiagnoses of parents in the schizophrenic group. In our article (p 703), we reported incorrectly that of the 17 couples who formed the schizophrenic group, ten cases were chronic. In actuality, nine cases were chronic, and one case was schizoaffective. The confusion arose from the fact that there were nine couples in which at least one parent was a chronic schizophrenic; however, in the case of one of the nine couples . . .
