We welcome other investigators' use of multiple specified criteria in an attempt to define homogeneous samples of ADDRT. We would only add that the authors might find it useful to employ the parents' judgement as rated on our "Parents' Rating Scale." We have found parents, and others in general, to be more reliable than patients and the Parents' Rating Scale is predictive of response to stimulants in patients with ADDRT.1
