We previously reported in the Archives a study of blood haloperidol levels and clinical response in schizophrenic patients¹; amplifications of this study with corrections were also published.^2,3 The results with a slightly expanded sample utilizing both plasma and red blood cell haloperidol levels were reported in another journal.⁴ We have subse-Relationship between mean plasma haloperidol levels determined by gas-liquid chromatography and percentage decrease in Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS) psychosis factor scores by day 24 of haloperidol treatment.
