Incorrect Wording

In the letter entitled "Localized Phosphorus 31 Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy in Chronic Schizophrenic Patients and Normal Controls," published in the June 1991 issue of the ARCHIVES (1991;48:578), an abbreviation was incorrectly used. The fourth sentence in the "Comment" section should have read "Since PDE levels may reflect cell membrane breakdown, increased PDE values may occur only early in the illness, as in the study by Pettegrew et al.¹" . . .
